International Mobile Termination

Foreign telecommunications companies frequently change the dialed digits that define mobile termination. Due to the costs imposed by these telecommunications companies, a higher price will be charged to complete a call to international area codes that the foreign telecommunications companies have classified as a mobile code. International area codes follow the country code and can be anywhere from one to four digits.

To assist you in making international calls, we are providing this table to identify international area codes that are considered mobile and, therefore, subject to the mobile termination rate. View International Mobile Termination Codes.

Important note: It is possible that the specific number you are calling is not mobile even though the entire international area code is classified as mobile. It is important that you use the international rate table to determine if you will be charged the higher rate.

For more information please see Frequently Asked Questions.

Dialing codes that determine mobile termination may be changed frequently. We will update the list periodically to reflect these changes; therefore, this information is subject to change on short notice.

Example: A call to Afghanistan beginning with the country code "93" followed by the mobile code "70" is subject to the mobile termination rate regardless of the numbers following the 93-70 sequence.

The rates per minute listed below apply to both CenturyLink Choice International and CenturyLink 10 Cents to Mexico plans. Customers on CenturyLink 10 Cents to Mexico pay the mobile termination rate for the countries included in their plan, International Base Rates apply to all other countries.
