General Connectivity

The first step to resolving many modem issues is to "powercycle" your modem: Unplug the black power cord from the back of the modem. Wait 15 seconds and then plug it back in. The Internet light on the front of the modem will be blinking as it initializes and then becomes a steady light. Wait for the steady light – this could take several minutes. Then try to access the Internet.

Slow Internet Connection

This is often the result of improperly installed Internet filters. Our tutorial shows you how to correctly install them on many different kinds of equipment that connects to a phone jack.
