South Dakota Rates, Terms, and Conditions
The provisions governing most of the telecommunications services and features provided by Qwest Corporation, Qwest Communications Company, LLC, and Qwest LD Corp. to South Dakota customers can be found in Catalogs (Qwest Corporation) and Rate Schedules (Qwest Communications Company, LLC and Qwest LD Corp.) set out on the Qwest web site.
Catalog Terms are the contract between South Dakota customers and Qwest Corporation/Qwest Communications Company, LLC for local telecommunications services and features and Qwest Corporation-offered long-distance services. The applicable Qwest Service Agreements (available at http://tariffs.qwest.com:8000/Qwest_Service_Agreements/LD_Xpl/index.htm) and applicable South Dakota Rate Schedules are the contract between South Dakota customers and Qwest Communications Company, LLC/Qwest LD Corp. for interexchange (long distance) and related services.
The Catalogs, Service Agreements and Rate Schedules are contracts between the relevant Qwest entity and the customer. By ordering, using, paying for, and/or not canceling the services or features, the customer agrees to the provisions in those documents. Over time, Qwest may change the Catalogs, Service Agreements, and Rate Schedules and will give you reasonable notice of important changes instead of filing them with the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission (PUC).
Emergency Reporting Service and 911 Services remain tariffed in South Dakota, which means that Qwest must file changes to those services with the South Dakota PUC. You may still file complaints regarding Qwest's services or features with the PUC.
For further explanation of the changes, and to see Qwest's Price Schedules, Catalogs, and Rate Schedules, please visit us at http://tariffs.qwest.com:8000/Q_Tariffs/SD/index.htm, or call us at 1 800-244-1111 (for residential customers) or 1 800-603-6000 (for business customers).
